How to spray paint a glass vase
I decided to spray paint the vases because it was quick, affordable, and easy. Spray painting the glass is the best DIY glass vase idea, in my opinion. The spray paint is easy to find and it doesn’t require any special tools to get it done.
Shown above, is the paint colors I used. I also used a flat black color which I forgot to photo. The stone texture paint is AMAZING and I highly suggest you try to add a texture to one of your pieces. I painted over the texture to give it a monochrome look.
Step 1: Clean the vases and let dry.
Step 2: Use a scrap piece of cardboard to stand the vases on. Make sure you do this step outside.
Step 3: Shake the can of spray-paint and spray the vase.
Step 4: Once dry, repeat with multiple coats until you meet the desired look.
This is such an easy DIY project for the weekend or rainy day at home AND will give your home a beautiful upgrade for just a few dollars!
I loved the way the textured look came out!
The texture pray give it a stone look. It doesn’t apply any color to the glass so just make sure you are careful of that. You will either need to paint the vase first or after the texture spray!
